Are these trucks ticking financial bombs?

Indeed, my dad was driving the car at the time but I would be driving the very next run. The track we were at was very safe however, lots of room for error.

Are these trucks ticking financial bombs?

We've got a 540i 4.4l. Its not the engine that fails, its everything else. People have all kinds of issues with the V8 cars especially the M5s. The alternator in ours let go while on the track which was pretty scary since the car shut off at high speed. Luckily there was alot of runoff. Next...

Are these trucks ticking financial bombs?

Problems our BMW with 70k miles has had: Two new radiators, new clutch, flywheel, AC compressor, water pump, alternator. Problems my Yukon with 70k has had: Broken speedo... Wait until your Bimmer starts giving you problems, because it will. Then you'll wish your biggest problem was just...

to those who have a BB tune

He tuned my truck two weeks ago and it drives great. I'm running 93oct in this and it will really go. Merging onto interstates is a breeze now. I also have the tow/haul tables remapped. I'm still getting about 16mpg tho... BUT I still need to get rid of this Flowmaster exhaust setup in...

    (((blackbear basic tune)))

On a basic tune, I imagine that it just means that its nothing extreme. You should still be able to run either 87 or 89 octane and be fine. Justin will firm up the shifting a little for everyday driving and will tweak everything so the truck will be more responsive and wont shift like a...

In the process of changing headlights...

Well they've been in for over a month now and everything is still great. I must be okay at weatherproofing haha. Last weekend i was in Myrtle Beach at the Blackbear tune meet and I turned them on when it got dark enough. People seemed to like them. (by the way Blackbear tunes rock)

Thanks. The factory tails look out of place now though. I am still waiting for X3 racing to get the red smoked LED tails back in.

In the process of changing headlights...

Got one of them working, but ran out of wire quick-connectors so I never made it permanent. Just got back from wal-mart with 20 of them. One of the red wires is positive and the other is for the ground, but the idiots who made this didnt label them. I'm going to try and finish this up...

In the process of changing headlights...

Yep I have the same type. i have 2 reds, 2 whites going into a really small harness. But only two reds come out, both of which I have wired to the brown wire. So far I have only screwed with the passenger side, because I can't even get it to work. Your idea sounds reasonable though...

In the process of changing headlights...

I'm scared to switch anything now because a. I have no way of remembering which red one was hooked up to the ground and which to the battery when i did it the first way b. I can't really remove those wire tappers either because I squeezed them using pliers. They are not supposed to come off...

In the process of changing headlights...

My connections seem really snug. Here is a pic of what I did. There are two red wire tappers that are both going along the brown wire. Each of those has a red wire for a halo. I turned on the lows and highs, still nothing. It shouldnt even matter really. This is supposed to get power from the...

In the process of changing headlights...

Ghost face I just read your topic, and followed JK's recommendation about the two red wires possibly being both positive. So I wired them both to the brown battery wire, still nothing. I'm so pissed right now. And now it's too dark outside and I had to put everything back in so I can drive...

In the process of changing headlights...

Okay I have attempted to get the halos wired but no success. If you click the ebay link to my headlights, you will notice that there are two red wires with exposed ends. Those are the halo wires. But they are not labeled, and they are both red. Do you think these are both power wires? I...

In the process of changing headlights...

Okay everything is in and works...except the halos because they are not wired. It frustrates me because there are adapters for everything, except for the halos. In each housing, there are two exposed red wires. I don't really know what to do with them. Am I supposed to splice those into the...

Anyone Have Any Performance Upgrade Suggestions?

Black Bear Performance tune. That will help you the most. All the other programmers are crap in comparison. I'm going to a tune session in Feb. and getting mine tuned by them.

    WOW

I wonder if it is easier to do this in a Yukon than a Tahoe, simply because the headlight fixture is bigger.
