Won't work. You'd have to change a bunch of other things, like the inside wiring harness, new bcm, you'll need the aspirator fans (so the new bcm can tell what the temperature is inside), etc. It would be cheaper selling your Tahoe and getting the one with the options you want

It's going to depend on your wheel offset and tire width. There's tons of people running 26's and even 28's with the right wheel/tire choice. With the trimming you've already done you might not have to trim anymore to fit the 26's either. You can go to willtheyfit.com and put in your current...

those are OEM 22" CK375 wheels. They are hard to find OEM anymore since they aren't made, however, there are 18", 20", 22", and 24" reproductions all over the place.

They'll both look good. 24's with a decent tire will ride better than a 26 with a skinny tire
