i am posting this for my buddy cuz this happened today around 6 and there are no shops open until monday. he has an 02 tahoe with 71,000 miles on it. he got home parked, then later got in and started it up, said he heard a weird sound then went to put it into reverse and it wouldn't do anything...

ok in addition to having the strange sound because of my AC, listed in another post. i decided to throw an OBII on there to see if i could pull any codes and its not getting a reading/signal to the tester. sounds like it could be a calibration issue not sure. this just keeps getting better.

i have a 2002 Tahoe and have been tossing around the idea of removing the plastic trim pieces on the fenders. Has anybody had success with this? My biggest concern would be if there are holes behind the top of the pieces that would require fill and paint. any advice would be appreicated. Thanks
