thats your alignment - usually this happens if you get new tires (sometimes), lift, leveling kit or some modification to the front end, or if you go too fast over speed bumps or miatas... but take it to a local tire shop and they should be able to do it for 65-75 bones you need to get this...

i dont think its dumb, but obviously the reason for a lift kit is to get better ground clearance for off-road use. but if you just want it to look good and have the money to spend then i say go for it as for the special 2x4 lift kits i dont know...

better to have it and not need it, then to not have it and need it... i have a 4x4 and have never used it BUT, i have the auto 4x4 and use that all the time! its great to have that option...
