your going to have to build or have someone build new brackets for them to drop them the right way. you could try to find some that are aftermarket and lower. that or put something under them like diamond plate or whatever to make them lower... not a real easy way to go about it.

if you want info on the 4l80e swap send 95twintt a PM about it. i had my 4l60E built up when it was redone about a year ago with a Racing high torque package and GM 5 gear planetaries, vette servos, better sprags, all sorts of crap. Had a guy me and my father know redo it on his free time...

they don't make rear bumper brackets to raise the rear bumper, so if you body lift it you'll have a nice gap betwee nthe rear bumper and the body. (they on'y make the brackets for the pick-ups.)

yep, its avaliable on the 2 doors, you'll have "Z71" in your RPO codes if you have the package. my 96 came with the package. :)

6-lug 14 bolt rear end would be the better replacement for the 10-bolt rear end. may be able to find one at the junk yard. my stock rear end had 168,000 miles on it under "normal" daily crap and towing and never skipped a beat, gears came out looking brand new. just saying, just because yours...
