Hmmmm... does the green light illuminate when the button is pressed in the truck? could be a issue with the truck, ill look for my owners manual when I get home and check the process again. could be a issue with the homelink in the truck.

ok then its probally the triangle looking button, the program mode on the truck I believe was hold button for 5 seconds and it should just pick up the signal from the opener. does it look like this?

here is a picture with one of my other cars, 2000 Camaro SS with a forged 408 stroker motor I just built. this was going to get tuned last November.

Try pushing the square button and then go to the truck and press and hold whatever button until it opens/closes. I just redid mine cause it seemed to unprogram itself

pull the oil stick and check for milky like substance, same with radiator also. scanner wont tell you whats wrong besides what the computer says. compression test the cylinders after visual check on those fluids.

when you had the flush was it "burped" properly? any type of push bars or anything on the front of the Tahoe? any road debris or heavy blockage in the radiator? belt driven fans are weak when its really hot outside, does it get hot cruising or at idle?

I find it pointless with the DOD in these trucks, makes no difference at all and I can feel mine switching back and fourth between 4 & 8 and its annoying, the 6 speed in these trucks are pointless and I believe it causes the terrible MPG, not that it should get 30MPG but 17-18 would be nice...

04 before I traded it in had 240+k on the clock and ran like a champ, my current 11 Tahoe is at 122k.... still a baby, and rust is starting on all 4 corners, thanks Cleveland for the calcium chloride and rock salt :( !!!

sweet! I loved my 04 almost better than my 11, but I like the 07+ body style but my 04 I think had better interior comfort... my 11 does not have the captain seats.... im torn between the two lol the 04 had 240+K on the clock without a problem and I loved it. happy motoring!

does it have a square button around or near the door opening adjusting screws?

No, it's still factory in the rear, I got the fronts to match which I believe is 20%? And I got a sun strip at 10% and the full windshield is 50% on top of that. Thanks for the compliments!

What type of opener is on the garage? Craftsman, genie? Etc... My craftsman opener has a button on the say "passenger side" of the opener and I press that and walk to my truck and hold whatever one to program for 3-5 seconds and boom... Magic happens. But not sure on other brands...
