me and my family have been buying gm trucks/suvs for a while now. me personally have owned 4. first was a 03 z71 silverado when i was 15 my dad handed it down to me even tho it was only a few months old and drove it till i was 18 when i bought a 07 2500hd dmax. then in november of 07 i bought my...
ive been wanting to do the exact thing, train horns and a dixie horn, was going to order all my stuff from hornblasters. one suggestion i have is make sure u get a good size compressor and tank atleast a 3 gallon becuase the dixie horn will die down if you dont have a large enough tank. the way...
i dont think your going to be able to fit a 10" wide with 4.5" bs especially on a 33x12 or 13in wide tire. you might be able to go with a 10" wide with 6" backspace but still expect some rubbing.
i would go with the ccm 2.5" kit with the 1" rear spacer. you can find them on ebay. exactly how far past the fenders are you wanting your tire/wheels?
ive been kicking the idea around on getting the new gmx320 lockpick with the ipod lockpick as well. now i have a few questions im not sure on, one ive got the pac adapter already installed for my amp, now will the gmx320 work with that adapter or does it come with its own outputs so i wont need...
it depends on where you go, 2 years ago on my old z71 silverado i had limo all around and they didnt say anything, 2 months ago my mom takes her denali in to get inspected and didnt pass with 18% on the front even tho our legal here is 25%. ive had limo and darker on 4 of my trucks and ive only...
the stock cats are pretty high flow, replacing them would mostly be for sound. if your looking for performance look at getting some headers, i plan on getting some dynatech long tubes in my near future.
if you stay within 2-2.5" of lift in the front you should keep a safe cv angle and still have enough down travel that your not sitting on your bump stops. once you get to 3" you need to look at aftermarket upper control arms which total chaos sells and usually are run with replacement front...
should be very minor trimming, mostly just plastics. i had a set of mtz's on my 07 2500hd, they were a good tire, looked great and preformed well, did make alittle noise tho. but almsot everyone ive talked to loves the toyo muds.
looks good man! i love the greystone metallic with all the black accessories! do you plan on smoking your tails? also where does the rear spacer mount? is it on top of the spring or on the bottom?
you should be able to add some ford keys in the front and crank it 2-2.5" to give u 5-5.5" total lift which should fit those tires, but you will probably need to do some trimming, are these aftermarket wheels your running?
the rancho quicklift is probably one of the most expensive levleing kit out there but is definitly a good upgrade since it upgrades your shock as well. with that kit set at 2.5" you could run a 33" mud terrain with an aftermarket wheel, but will have to do some trimming.
another option if...
that wheel should work. i think that offset will set you with about 5.5" of backspace... correct me if im wrong someone. my wheels now are 20x9s with 5.5" backspace and had no problems with my 35x12.5s but my 37x13.50s im running a 1/4" spacer in the front to not rub on the uca. i know kuhmo...
