this sounds veeery much like a friend's aftermarket security system she has. I dont think this is a factory thing, but I do know some pretty warped methods that are used to start cars with aftermarket systems.
Aaaactually....the Hybrid has the boxier rear end like the Escalade....so you would still need to replace the vent covers on the back. And honestly, if you are going to go to all of that work....may as well do the escalade ones.
You got it...just rotate the switch to the left and it will temporarily shut the lights off. Next time you start her up.....everything will be back to normal. And yes these trucks do have unusually sensitive light sensors in them.
I am a fairly conservative person, but I was also on the road to becoming an Earth Science/Geology Major. Yes global warming is a cyclical thing. Could we have affected it? Absolutely! Is it all because of our SUVs? Hell no. What our Yukons and Suburbans put out the tailpipe is NOTHING compared...
That is alot of mileage on a tank! I have taken a 5.7 Magnum on a long trip before, and granted it cant go as far, but it still got better mileage, Around 25 miles per gallon. The reason the tahoe can go so far is because it has a considerably large 26 gallon tank.
well there is one more odd thing....on the 2008 Z71 models, the outside of the door handles are plain black, not painted like they were on the 2007 models.
Ok, if the pedal is REALLY soft, and pumping it stops that, then something is VERY wrong. And it is possible that at some point, NO, you will not be able to stop. It sounds like it could be a master cylinder or something. Call the dealer, have it towed in.
Heh, Im sorry if you were given a hard time. We werent aiming it at you I just think that some folks on here are a bit grouchy with the $4 per gallon prices, and who wouldnt be!! I got a gas bill of $1000 last month......owie! But yes, your mileage is a bit louzy. Im not sure how you tend to...
A) Yes, you can go to gmpartsdirect.com, look up under a 2007 Silverado (New body style) and you will notice that it has the console armrest with a lid on it. You can replace the entire bench if you want the in-seat storage, or just the armrest. Big difference in price, BIG difference in work...
I have seen it done, but I would bet that it is a nasty little project *shudders*. As far as adding a power hatch, I wouldnt call that easy peasy, but I would think it would be easier then welding in a sunroof.
Try calculating your mileage yourself for a while. If your calculations come out to be what the DIC is saying, then yes, that mileage is a bit lousier then what it should be getting. If your calculations are much better then your DIC, then something is still not workin properly.
