I have an inconsistency problem with my lights on my hoe... My extra hi beams dont stay on (most of the time) when I push the turn signal lever forward. Nothing happens. I can flash them by pulling the lever towards me but as you know they dont stay on when it returns to its original position...

The leveling pump on my Tahoe sounds a lot. It seems to be working awfully hard when leveling the rear of the truck. Are you supposed to even hear it at all? Could it be going bad?

What is it then that they want to program? The remote to the alarm? That should just be a frequency check shouldn't it?

On the Scandinavian market all sold cars have to have automatic headlights. My Tahoe has this and the only way to turn them off was to turn the switch first to driving lights and then back to parking lights... Strange.

When I bought my Tahoe, I only got one key. I need at least one more and here in Sweden they tell me that I need to program the key in the shop. They charge an arm and a leg, so I was wondering if this is something I can do myself?

Maybe a stupid question, but how do I remove the black plastic covers on the lug nuts without damaging the rim center or the cover itself? Pull it straight out or twist it? ... first Tahoe.

Yes. 16" is the diameter. Original is 16X7 rims. 16X10 is good, but I want them to have a negative offset so the rim sits further out in the well.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is the bolt pattern and offset for the 03 Tahoe? Anybody know where I can buy wide 16" rims for my ride? I cant find wider that 8" on 16" rims anywhere... I would like rims that add outward (deep). Anybody know?

I tried turning the switch to 0, but they dont turn off. Maybe I should put the original bulbs in and see if they make a difference. I really dont see that there should be a difference though.

I added an HID kit to my Hoe. Now I cant turn them off so that I only have the running lights/parking lights on. Why is this? Does it have anything to do with my new HID kit? My headlights turn on automatically when the car is turned on.

This WAS actually the case with mine too! I feel like a real idiot, but I just couldn't see in my wildest dreams that the polarities were reversed. Now they work great and all is well!

I don't know if it's local, but in Sweden, Haynes publish a soft-cover manual by CHILTON. I bought this a couple of days ago, but I really dont think it's that good. I remember thinking the Haynes manual was really informative in an easy to learn kind of way. I had it for my former Blazer...

How come you cant just plug them in? I just bought a HID kit in Sweden and all the ballast connectors match perfectly. The thing is : THEY DONT LIGHT. Does a Tahoe -03 have som sort of CAN bus sytem that is sensetive to resistence? Can someone please explain exactly how you got yours...

Shouldnt I be able to test the ballasts right on a battery?

It should be getting power since the regular bulb has it...
