Yes there are timing marks. Might need to remove the fan shroud to see it but they're right on the crank. Just remember it needs to be on the compression stroke

No it's actually at shift points... Kinda. It's really hard to explain but it seems to happen when I let off the accelerator. And it's a very loud thing in the dive train. As for the 4x4, that was worked out with just getting a new interior switch

99 5.7 liter vortec Chevrolet Tahoe. first ever four wheel drive and the four wheel drives giving me fits it's a matter of fact two weeks into owning said four wheel drive I remove the front drive shaft to make it to. Pray for me
