I am going to look at one this weekend. I heard that it has 180K on it and it is in decent shape. My friend is an auto broker and he is about to get one in on a trade. I am still waiting for more info from him and will keep you all posted.
Hi to all. I don't post up here too often. I currently own a 2004 Denali XL and have owned a 2002 Tahoe LT in the past. I love these trucks. I am thinking about picking up a 1996 2-door Tahoe 4x4. I don't know much about this generation but I love the 2-door look. Anything I should watch...
Just read the article about thieves puncturing the tanks. Nothing we can do about that, but I am definitely going to install locking caps also if I can find them!
I have this problem on my 2000 Corvette sometimes if I don't fill up with Chevron gasonline (w/ Techron). I don't know if it applies to our trucks since I have never experienced that problem on the Denali or my previous Tahoe. Have you tried using some Techron? If you have any Chevrons in...
My friend had his stolen. It dropped the value of his truck when he tried to trade it in. Luckily mine have not been stolen in the Denali or the Hoe. I may have to store them also just in case....
Thanks for sharing. I have used PDR on my vehicles many times over the years. My Denali needs some TLC so I am going to let the professional work his magic tomorrow/
But on my Previa (aka my SAV, or Sweet Ass Van) I am going to try the dry ice and the blow dryer/CO2 trick! It is not worth it...
Welcome to the forum. I recently just joined also. Hopefully this community will continue to grow. I have learned a lot from other forums I have been on and that has helped me to save a lot of money on repairs by doing it myself. Looking to do the same here. Enjoy!
On the Corvette Forum, Zaino or Adams are the products of choice. I haven't tried either product but they seem to get rave reviews. I usually just stick with Meguiars products or good ol caranuba wax. I'm not really into detailing my cars. Takes too much time! For touch up work, try langka...
nice! We also just picked up a 2004 Denali XL with 25,000 miles on the clock. The kids love the DVD player and we love the navigation! I think the Tahoe is not gonna be driven as much now.....
I agree with Getwired. I also have a minivan that I use for my business and I use it to drive my kids around once in awhile. And to be honest, I actually like driving the SAV (Sweet-Ass Van) because I can care less about where I park it and if someone dings it up.
