Wow, that's interesting, I never thought about that. Are you sure it doesn't count fuel used while being remote started? And 4 or 5 gallons out of every tank? That seems like a lot of fuel to warm up your truck to me!

i check mine fairly often and reset at each fill up. I want to know if DIC is accurate or not, and for me so far it has been. My fuel used has been accurate typically within .5 gallons and DIC average MPG vs my calculated MPG is typically within .75 of a mile per gallon.

If you figure this out, can you post the part number? I am missing a knob off the rear entertainment controls, and I think its the same as the front knob. My dealer tried to find the part number but is having a tough time too.

Just to clarify - No, You dont need a tune to add an intake or an exhaust or any of that...But you most likely will not see any performance or MPG gains from an intake alone. Once you add the intake, if you get a black bear tune or simmilar, you should see some improvements.
