haven't checked pressure yet... it was running fine this morning and only cut out when I really tried to get on it. When I drive with my normal driving habits it does fine. But when I'm trying to get passed someone by trying to go close to the floor that's when it happens. I've decided it's...
Okay guys I am usually pretty good at this but this has got me. Here comes a hopefully quick and unboring overview. 2300 miles ago i did a tire rotate, oil change and fuel filter change. Within in a week my fuel pump started making noise; but has been running fine. About 400 or so miles ago my...
I'm looking for an affordable HID kit. I have the bulbs already installed but obviously thought that the would be bright enough until the bubble gum blues with siren yanked me off to the side and said that my lights weren't bright enough.:eek2: But no ticket was issued:mpr: I located a kit...
Well I was trying to decide whether to get a four inch or six inch lift and I decided on the six so it'll have to wait a minute. But I finally got into some sites that showed and offered the Dick Cepek lift kit and wheels and for now that is my goal. and Money what's that, oh that green stuff...
You know I took my tahoe to a dealership yesterday just because of lack of time and a place to change fluids but as the guys there were looking at it they topped off all fluids and inspected for leaks. For some reason the guys said yeah truck looks great. No leaks everything looks dry and...
Yeah but that can be any Chevrolet. Especially with the 350 and 262 engines that I know of. Your case happened to be a freak occurance. Glad to hear you got it running again though.
Does anyone know of an upgrade for a PS pump? There has got to be something. $100 bucks for a PS pump every couple of months isn't going to cut it. I know chevy has a PS pump that costs around $400 that is connected to the brake booster but that's no the one I have.
I'm haveing the same problem but I replaced my pump but not the resevoir. The seal didn't seat right and is leaking now. Now whaen Sitting still or a low speeds such as becking out of a parking space I have no pwer steering. I actually have to brake and throttle to get power. I'm wondering...
Okay well this is what I found thanks to Boostaholic. Looks great and I think I will get it but $h!t... that's like 10.5 inches of lift. My skins are 35's. They are going to look tiny I think. Any recommendations on what size would make it look beefy to match the height?
Hell I'd like to be on the forum or at least playing with my Ultimate Assault Vehicle all day. But unfortunately the Navy doesn't allow web browsing throughout the day.:nonod:
Ah bparker, you are from my neck of the woods. I'm originally from Denton, TX but I'm stationed in Virginia right now. I should be coming home to visit real soon
I have all brand new cooling hoses and modified the fan shroud.Everything seems to be fit and sound for now but you never know what the summer will bring. Any suggestions? :umn: I looked up dick cepek but the only thing I could fin are wheels and tires nothing on suspension lift. Is there a...
Timing chain and cover will be a nightmare for you at first but I would exhaust all other options before you go that far. Are you getting fuel? The jolt may have loosened a wire somewhere. Nevermind you said it would run until you stop accelerating. Before I give you bad info. I'll check...
Timing
Sounds a little like timing. When was the distributer last touched? It's possible the timing chain jumped a tooth. I did it before racing my s10 4.3L after running it at 143mph racing against a Monte Carlo
:yaya: So I;m looking into getting a suspension lift for my 99 2 door tahoe. The UAV rides on 35's now and has a 4" body lift. I only want to pick it up just a few more inches but I'm wondering how much more to go. Which brand lift kit is recommended and how much more should I lift? I know...
I bought the $25.99 air intake for my 97 Jimmy over a year ago and found it to be garbage. I should have known better but the factory intake was cracked and causing me problems. Well the aftermarket was worse. You could hear it on heavy acceleration but as far as a gain of any kind goes; I...
