When you say took it out, I’m presuming you’re talking about the spark plug. If the engine is fine then maybe: 1. Did the spark plug have a good connection 2. Is the spark plug in good shape 3. Maybe the plug wire is going bad Not sure about the O2 sensors, but a poorly running engine...

I remember one summer in the later 80’s it dipped down to .69 cents, but the normal was around .92 to .99 cents. People were not happy if it went over a $1.00. If gas cost as much as it did this year, I would have done a lot of walking back then.

If you’re worried about gas mileage keep it around 55 - 60 mph range. That’s supposedly the area where an engine is most efficient. The use of cruise control will help keep your foot off the gas and only increase your speed when needed. Ethanol will not help your vehicle get better mileage...

I think it looks petty good with the Z71 rims. The new tires are much more aggressive than the other street tires. Now that you ditched the chrome rims it looks like your ready for business. I think the less chrome the better. I do wish they up the size of the Z71 rims from 18’s to 20’s.

Mud flaps help cut down on the rocks and help protect the body.

Does anyone with a tailgate have squeaking from the rear window? I’ve been in suv’s with tailgates and some had an annoying squeak coming from the rear window. I know the S10 blazers did have a problem with this.
