you need a couple of adapters and modulation units, there is one to retain the chime, beeps and blips, this one usually maintains on-star as well.
If you want factory steering wheel controls you will need a unit for that as well, I think in all you will be spending an additional 150...
This may sound like a dumb question because I have never really noticed this before but my oil pressure gauge has started to climb when I accelerate. It goes straight to 40 and stays there until I accelerate then it climbs to about 65. The reason I ask is because I have never noticed any...
Why would I take my Denali off road? If I wanted to do some off roading I would have bought a jeep. Living in Utah everyone lifts everything, in my honest opinion I think it's compensation for other shortcomings. But I really wanted something that looked totally different and something that you...
That all depends on the look and ride that you want. If I recall correctly the front ones are about 5 in. and the rear are like 3 in. long. But again it up to your preference, I did the belltech spindles in the front and the springs in the rear. I wanted a little lower so I cranked the torsion...
Your front links are to long. You can cut them down and as long as there are still some thread left you should be fine. I actually had to epoxy my rear ones into place because I took them on and off so many times. A piece of threaded bar will work fine just cut it down to the size you want.
I did the spindles and tried to put my 17's back on for the winter and they wouldn't fit. I have the autoride on mine and it still rides like stock, except for those massive bumps. The only suggestion I can make is to do the free travel mod mentioned a billion times on this web site.
If you mean same thread size yes, if you mean length no they are not. The rear are shorter then the front. You can put the rears up front and use a piece of threaded bar for the rear if you are trying to lower it.
I should have posted this earlier but I just got the time. I put this on about two weeks befor christmas and got alot of funny looks but I was still proud.
I used the belltech kit with the drop spindles and the lowering springs. I have the air ride on my denali so that helps alot with the dropping. It rides great, the only issue I have had was the bumpstops, read all the post about the "free travel mod" to see more.
So I found the problem. I recently had the seal on my tranny replaced because it was leaking. I guess when they replaced it they used a different type of seal. There is one that has a collar and one that doesn't, the one with the collar will rub and the other won't. Needless to say problem solved!
So the other day I was driving and when I started to brake I heard this faint squealing. I thought it was the brakes so I pulled of the wheel scuffed up the pads and to no avail it didn't work. Well the squeal started to get worse so i took it to my buddy, he originally thought that it was the...
