I just picked up a new set of GM 20" wheels for my 01 Yukon but not sure what tire pressure the factory recommends for them on stock GM 04-06 trucks that come with these accessory wheel kits??
My stock 16" were 32 but I think the 20's should be more.
Wish I saw this thread sooner, cause I was trouble shooting this yrs back on my 01 Yukon. It seems to be a common problem with these gm trucks and the only real solution is top replace that shaft with an aftermarket piece.

I had first thought about putting near the onstar, but it was too far of a reach when I wanted to change the station. I will have to take pics, it looks like it came that way from the factory.
I custom intstalled it myself on my 01 Yukon, I put it where the tape player goes. I removed the tape player, bought some black radio plastic, 2 screws and clips and 2 metal bands. I started by cutting the plastic to cover the hole from behind from the old tape player, I then mounted the surius...
They fit perfect have them on mine. 01 Yuk SLT They mount the same as the origs. I added them just so I could run HID's. The HID's look much better in projector style lights.
I really like some of the new 07 style wheels but I know the offset is different. Is anyone running newer wheels preferably 20's and do you have any problems. The differnece is about 10mm. I did see an 02 Yukon w/new Denali 20's and it looked real good but did not get close. I guess I could run...
