oh, one more thing, i drive on roads that are somewhat dusty. I have looked at the filter recently and it doesn't appear to be dirty. Though I haven't washed it out with water or anything. TIA!:)

Hey all, real quick post....I have had the Volant powercore CAI for about a year and a half. Do I need to replace/clean this filter. I have noticed a drop in my mileage even with a Blackbear mileage tune and have not changed my driving habits. Thoughts?

Blackbear is not from the factory. It is a custom tune for your vehicle. You get readings from your vehicle, send it to Justin and he tunes it specifically for your truck and needs. You get a new PCM and ECM. The shift points are usually changed and you end up with more torque, mileage...

I know it's a little late, but I intend on fixing the rock chips after I get mud flaps. Can I fix these myself? There are several on the rear fascia, luckily it's only on one side. TIPS?

I chose the volant because it is low maintenance and totally enclosed, and the magnaflow based on some recommendations-I didn't want a super loud exhaust. Borla and Corsa are great, but cost a little more....
