Dash Board I know the dealer charges about 300 for just the upper portion of the dash, looking to see how much work would be involved to remove and replace, or any other solutions like how owuld it look to strip the old and have it painted?

good chance it could be the switch, mine did they same thing, 4wd service light would come on and it would enage by it selfs sometimes. I replaced the 4wd switch and have had no problems since getting mine through the different positions now (2004 Hoe)

I have a awesome stock 2004 tahoe that has been a dream except for the dash board peeling. How hard is it to replace the dash, do I need to worry about the air bag? ANy help would be great. Kevin
