Alright we'll see how long this will last. I just now got everything done. I replaced the fuel pump. I also replaced the whole entire pig tail assembly. We'll see what happens from here guys. Thanks for all the advice. Would probably be in some **** 6 feet deep with the old lady.

Where exactly am I looking for the pigtail?? Is that the plastic tit for the hose for pressure that connects to the pump?

2 doors are tanks....they can handle anything. I wrecked mine last year...fell asleep at the wheel and hit 2 ford F150's and totaled both of them and my tahoe had $2000 damage. It's in excellent condition now. The frame rail is pretty damn strong. Yours looks good so far....it's coming along...

when jump started it runs and runs a little rich but it runs fine and when shut off it will start within 15-20 minutes or so without a jump sometimes.

Your problem almost sounds like my problem I am having now...I am a loss for words and so are a lot of mechanics. Did you try jumping it? See now when I jump mine is starts....but without the jump it sounds exactly how yours is acting. It sounds like it wants to start and it sometimes sputters...

Finally a service engine light! She's finally throwing codes to me and it is saying code P0446 "Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction" and 2nd code P0174 "System Too Lean (Bank 2)"
