Mine never over 180 have a 160 thermostat, works great for thoughs hot days, having the 160 will open quicker to cool off sooner.

Had a 40 series on my 99 4 door, way to loud for me, now have a DynoMax and love it, smooth rumble when cruising, and loud enough for me when your hammer down, just me, hope I helped.:thumbsup:

Why don't you just get a used stock cat from a local pick-a-part or junk yard and just replace it, if the old owner hollowed it out for alittle more flow and horsepower it's not enough to make a difference that you'll feel 5 to 10 HP Max, put the stock back on, I would. Just my opinion:thumbsup:
