All normal - you won't have any turn signal sound either. Ps. you should have twisted the JP wires and probably added a drain. If you hear the whine (as described on the other Chevy forum) that is the cause. Good job on the install pics...
If you do it yourself parts are around $500 from GMpartsdirect and labor to flash the modules should be no more than 1 hour (~$80) - actual programming time is less than 15 minutes if you have a GM tech that knows what he's doing - but most of them will use you as a training exercise.
The following is a post I authored on another forum about how to convert non power folding mirrors (code DL8) to power folding mirrors (code DL3) in a 2007 Tahoe. These are the steps I undertook for converting a LT1 Tahoe to DL3 (power folding mirrors):
1. Purchase the following parts: LH...
Been there. I gave up and ordered two of the Tahoe/Yukon harnesses (they are $18each from GMpartsdirect). All I will really use is the connector but this way I preserve my originals - and I can test/experiment with the Eskys by simply plugging them in under the bumper without having to...
FYI, If anyone is interested in more detail on this subject (Esky lights>Tahoe/Yukon) I have an extensive post at this link.....
You might want to review the latest info I learned about the US vs. Euro Esky taillights.

Just so you all know the issue: As described, if you simply wire diodes inline with the stop and turn Yukon/Tahoe wires connected to the Esky common stop AND turn, then whenever you have the stop lights AND turn signal on at the same time the stop will override the turn and the light will be on...
Anyone ever get an answer as to what the diodes were used for? Also, were the resistors simply load simulators for turn signal flash rate, or did you also do current limiting for the +12V feeds to the Esky LEDs? My assumption is that the current limiting resistance is built into the Esky LED...
Still researching this, but after looking more closely it appears to be a question of matching up the lines from the vent cap(not sure what it's called yet - I'd call it a sail panel) to the taillight. The Esky appears to have a hard edge to both the taillight & sail panel, the Tahoe/Yukon has...
