aftermarket

I am putting an aftermarket radio in my 2000 tahoe. We had best buy install it in my families other tahoe (2001), but that tahoe recently went out on us, thus the 2000 tahoe is getting the radio. When I connect the radio, it turns on, but no sound comes out. I have read all over the internet...

I had a 1997 Suburban with 305/35/r24 rims/tires. I donatedm it when it died and bought a 2007 Tahoe. I kept the tires but wanted to know if it will rub or will I need to lift or add spacers? Any information is good information thx!
