Hey all first post on here, been watching for several years, finally got registered so I can ask a question of you all. Went in for new tires and of course the guy at the tire shop tried to sell me upper and lower ball joints that were just replaced 2k miles ago.... but then he actually did me a solid and pointed out that I have a bigger problem. Ive noticed this feeling for the last 2000 miles but it was only when I really slammed on the gas from a stop which I never do regularly so the issue I was feeling I just chalked it up to "ok dont drive like a race car driver." I have been driving with a broken drivers side motor mount like almost everyone else 
but I wanted to ask about the replacement part. My local GM dealer doesnt stock it, but of course online does. Is there a better mount then the OEM from GM? Id hate to spend a few hundred bucks on my mechanic to put in yet another part that will fail in 20-30k miles. Anyone have any recomendations on a better then GM part that might last? Also Ive been driving on it like this without knowing for atleast 2000 miles, now that I know about it I have been driving like a grandpa now, I dont want to destroy my baby, is this safe? Also, if I am having to replace one side, should I replace the passenger side as well?
