Hi guys!
New to the forum here, so I figured I'd start out with a bang, ha!
I started getting a weird knock/tapping sound from the passenger side of the motor. Sounds more towards the block, but I'm not certain. I'm hoping not, as the motor only has about 90,000 miles on it. It come out of no where. Oil pressure has been fine, no overheating problems, and drives fine.
I previously had a tapping/pinging sound but it ended up being the driver side cat, I replaced it and everything has been fine until yesterday.
I dropped the exhaust again to see if it was the passenger cat, and no luck. Still getting the tapping sound.
It definitely gets faster with engine rev.
