2004 tahoe with bose system

I currently have a 2004 chevy tahoe with the bose system and on star i want to remove stock stereo and put something different in it. I have been told i need to get a different harness to bypass the on star and amp. I do want to put a complete system in it but not sure what I need. Can Someone point me in the right direction PLEASE and Thank You. Jeremy

Just go to car toys or wherever, you do need additional parts to go from stock to aftermarket. Should cost no more than $80 for it id say, but you also need the stereo of course, and the plastic insert to make the stereo fit (idk what they are called)
