2010 Trans issue

I have a 2010 with 120,000. A few weeks ago the trans had no forward when stopped at a light. Shut it off for a few minutes and was fine when started back up. Worked for a day or so and same thing. Replaced the TCM, new filter and fluid. Had it programmed and was fine for 2 days.

Now it either does the same thing or when you start out it revs like it’s in neutral then bangs into gear. I’m frustrated!!!! Thanks for the help in advance

I think I finally figured it out. The #1 check ball in the valve body was worn down to about half of its original size. Cheap easy fix. Just wish I figured it out before spending the money on the TCM!!

Can you post more information on said "#1 check ball in the valve body" I think I'm having the exact same problem...
