285"s with 17 or 18" wheels

hey guys, just picked up a new to me 03 Tahoe LT and want to put some 285's on and crank up the torsion bars, but not sure which rim size to go with or offset. I would like the tires to be about level with the fender flares. Please post some pictures of your 17 or 18" wheels.

I had 285's on my stock 17" z71 wheels looks good..

If you go here you can see my pic of 265/70R17 with a 2 1/2'' lift/leveling kit it looks great and I love it.

I am thinking of going with 18" wheels, 28565r18 tires and cranking up the torsion bars only about 1".

I bought the aftermarket keys and spring spacer had it realigned after install. The rear springs were kindof a pain in a55 but well worth it.

Just remember if you go with an 18 your gonna need to calibrate your speedo or it will be off.
