Display difference

What are the differences between the 4.3 inch and the 8 inch displays that are offered in the Tahoe Ls and Lt. Is the selfcontained Nav option available in the 4.3 display?

I have a buddy with the 4" screen in his Silverado and I have the 8" screen in my Tahoe. They are freakishy alike while offering two totally different experiences.

He has the same icons and screens that I do (without nav). The menus are almost exactly the same. It's easy to use and view. And his DIC menus / views are identical to mine.
