My 06 Tahoe Z71 is set to arrive tonight via auto transport (can't wait)!! According to Chevy the truck is 76" tall stock. I have decided to put a 4" Rancho (4" Front / 2" Rear) w/ 35s. My garage is 7' (84") tall. Do you think it will fit???

If anyone out there has a lift I would appreciate some measurement feedback.

Thanks!

76" stock height
+ 4" lift height over stock = 80"
+ potential 2" from larger tires over stock = 82"

that is assuming the lift isn't actually more than 4" and you get an actual +2" from the larger tire.

it's likely that at least initially, you will gain more than 4" of lift from that lift, and you won't gain a full 2" from the 35" tires vs. stock ~31" tires.

does that 76" include the height of the roof rack? the Z71 rack is probably 3"+ taller than the highest point of the roof.

right off the bat, i would not plan to ever park it in your garage after the mods.

i have 3" of lift and 33s on my suburban and i barely fit in the garage.
