My Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 soon to be two years old and yet I wouldn’t do any upgrade. All features just are working well and fast enough for me since I don’t play games. I got myself a new extended battery on mpj so it actually runs forever. Gimmicks will cramp my style. From what I can see my I8160 should continue to serve me until next year.
How long do you think your phone(s) will last?

I generally get a new apple I phone every 3-4 years..I have a I phone 6 now..Do not use it for games or gimmicks either..Might look into a new extended battery since I am on the road a lot.

This is what I do as well. I've been a bit pissed off ever since they admited they slow down older phones on purpose with software updates though. I might jump the Apple ship the next time I need a new phone.

I'm using iPhone 6 right now and I think it won't last for another 3 years.

I used an iPhone 6s Plus for 2 years and then upgraded and gave it to my girlfriend who used it for a year. Good solid phone. I think it would of lasted another year easily. Even if apple does slow them down with software updates they will outlast and outperform most androids phones. I’ve had several Samsung galaxies and notes and HTC phones that were good for a year and then started getting slow af...and I don’t play games on them either.

I am using Huawei P30 Pro, and I don't think that it will last until next year after I accidentally drop it. LCD screen is broken, and I am not planning to replace it. Getting a new smartphone will be the best option. I feel like I will be back on using iPhone after this tragedy.

I have so much stuff to purchase including a small bird cage and parakeets for my daughter as she turn five years old next month.
