Need buying advice: 2008 Chevy Tahoe SSV 4Dr

Hello there,

as I mentioned in my "new member" post, I'm planning to buy a Chevrolet Tahoe, probably MY 2007 to 2009.

I found a very interesting offer in Berlin, Germany:

- 2008 Tahoe, Special Service (former Orange County, CA Sheriff department)
- base model is Tahoe LS
- 4 DR
- 5.3L V8 FlexFuel with AFM
- About 159,000 miles
- Carfax looks good, no salvage title
- heavy duty trailering package

Repairs / Maintenance

- MadDog Stage 2 replacement tranny (like 1300miles old now)
- all 8 hydro tappet got replaced due to AFM malfunction (AFM and standard onces replaced)
- new solenoid
- new spark plugs and ignition cables
- all related seals replaced
- head gasket replaced
- pistons and engine has been checked during all the maintenance work
... These stuff was replaced 250 miles ago

- new brake disks and brake pads in front and rear


I'm going to see the car physically in two days.
What are the usual / known issues with this car?
The repairs listed, could this indicate a potential warning sign for a trouble car?
In general I experienced the US cars much more reliable than our German ones.

Any suggestions, recommendations, tips and hints are very welcome and highly appreciated.

Something that goes out a lot is the oil pressure sensor.... it will read 0 oil pressure and ding at you but it actually has 40-60... just something to keep in mind
