95 tahoe, among other years have oil line that run from a unit the oilfilter attaches to, to the radiator. My first thought, it is an oil cooler. But it goes to the hot side of the radiator, not the cooled side. 185 degree water or hotter is not the best way to cool the oil. What is th purpose of these line? If it is a cooler, would in not be better with an effective aftermarket cold air, rather then hot air, cooler. I do not do much pulling, but do some offroading.

Yes it's an oil cooler and the engine oil is hotter than the coolant much like the transmission on the other side
