Both fail at once. Replaced wiper motor, helped for 3 days. Took to shop, they replaced the wiper motor, worked for 5 days. But both defrost AND wiper stop working at the same time. Fuses OK. There is not common switch. Is there a common ground anywhere? No part of the defroster grid is damaged. Cleaned the connections to the defrost grid.
Sometimes I do hear a repetitive clicking when wiper switch is turned on. Doing all this with the rear liftgate closed, thinking wiper may not work by design when liftgate is up.
Seems like something happened when I replace motor that made all work for while and same after the shop fixed it. Can't explain that. But does seem something must be in common for defrost and wiper to go out at same time.
Have seem 3 others posting this problem on web but none have answers.
Please give me your suggestions. I will try them all !
