I have a 2005 Tahoe and also have a 2007 Suburban and I know this forum is for Tahoe, but I am sure the same rims went on both. Here is the question...
On the rims their is a little spots white, spidery, looking corrosion that is forming and I am thinking from where I live due to winters and salt. I had to get a refurbished rim on my 2005 Tahoe and it had this plastic film on it and I had water getting behind it making it bubble out. They gave me a different rim and no problems. Not sure if they put this film on the 2007 rims or not because I do not have any of this crap on my Tahoe.
Anyone have this problem with this white, spidery, stuff forming on the rims? Any solution to making it gone? It is not that bad yet, but would like to get rid of it and do not want it spreading making the rim look like crap.
