simple a/c question

Does a 99 tahoe have a/c cabin filter? not sure if I have an early 99 or a later one if that makes a difference. I seen a diagram of a bracket that can be lowered with 2 filters behind it but not sure what year it was for and mine doesn't seem to have the bracket. Before I spend time on my back on the passenger floor I hope someone can tell me. Thanks in advance!

It does not, the next body style has them.

There is a metal screen on the downstream side of the evaporator core, but it’’s only accessible by pulling the box.

Some ppl open that box and install a filter for model below 2014
Since you have a place and some models come with filter, it means you (might) be able to add on a filter
