Hello there,
I own a 2003 Tahoe LT autoride and I did get this message once in a while, specifically during winter. Here is the story....
During Winter time, it happened that I was getting the above message on my console. The first time, I got scared, thinking about the $$$$ it will cost me to fix the issue. Well, actually it wasn't that serious....
These messages never got displayed during spring, summer and fall. I live in Canada, and during the winter season, the city is hard on salt on the roads. To make a long story a short one, the city I live in here in Canada is pretty hard on salt on the road. I did notice that when I drive with my 03 Tahoe in a puddle on the right hand side of the truck during the winter, the water and the salt must create some kind of short on some sensors and confuse the computer and this is when I got the message displayed. It took me some times to figure this out. It will never happend with a puddle on the left hand side, and I said before never during the other seasons. Eventually, it will take a couple of hours to have the message off, the time it will take the water to dry, I am assuming.
I do hope this will help the people having such message displayed to relax a bit.
Cheers,
Eric
