Please post what Tahoe you've purchased, the amount and where you bought it. I am buying one for my wife this week and would appreciate the insight to bicker with the "STEALERSHIP" and get the best price I can. See example below. Thanks in advance I.e. 2015 LTZ 4x4 Diamond white, Tincher williams Chevy- London KY $61,500 + taxes.
Not even close. Says $66,502 on trucar and I have already found one for $62,105. I'm thinking I can pick it up for $60 or $61k. Please, share your experience on buying. I would appreciate it
2015 LT White diamond tricoat, 20's, second row buckets and some other options. $50,500. Checked Trucar first, got a ballpark number. Hit the dealer at the end of the month, the one we wanted was on the lot. We got it at the price we wanted to be near, they got one off the lot. Win for both sides!
Cost I have a LT white pearl with Z71, Lux, tow packages with roof rails and cross bars with some other small add ons and it was 55k plus taxes etc.
2016 LT 4WD, Lux, Tow, Max Trailer, 22" 6spoke gloss black, Second Row Buckets, Black Emblems, MyLink w/Nav - $58k + fees/tax..
May 23, 2016 went to Davis Chevrolet in Houston to look at a couple of Tungsten LT's w/ Cocoa/Dune and had no intention of buying anything because I was in browse mode. There was a 2016 Silver Ice LT w/ 4 black buckets, MyLink Audio, Black Bowties, 20" polished wheels, and a chrome exhaust tip that started speaking to me. Ended up taking it home w/ 14 miles on it. Final drive out price $51,500. Didn't care much for the wheels or exhaust tip, but the $3500 Rebate plus the fair deal on my trade-in is what sold me. MSRP 56,030
Sounds like you guys got some great deals. Dealership are hardly dealing down here due to rebate and other incentives on the vehicles. Seems like they are as low as they can go. Best price already seems set here.
2016 LT fully loaded for $47,588 and 5 free oil changes. For Real, not joking. Leson Chevy in Harvey, LA.
Looking to become a first time Tahoe owner, and would like to get this group's feedback on this potential deal: 2016 Tahoe LTZ Silver/Jet Black Retired Loaner, 4K miles Theft Protection Package Sun, Entertainment, and Destinations Package 22" wheels Enhanced (8") Driver Information Center Max Trailering Package Dealer wants $59.3K (this includes a $1500 rebate) I've never bought a retired loaner before, so I wasn't sure how much dealers tend to negotiate on those. They refer to it as a new car, which I get it technically is, but don't think you can say it's apples-to-apples with a car that has 50 miles on it from a pricing perspective. Thoughts? Thanks for any and all advice!
2015 Tahoe LT 2015 LT with quad buckets seats 2WD 40K miles, 24" wheels. 37,000. Got my used car dealer license because all the 2015s at the dealership were coming from the auction anyway. Plan to get rid of the 24s. ride too rough.
McCluskey Chevrolet Rocks Just traded my 2013 LT in at McCluskey Chevrolet at Kings Auto mall in Cincinnati OH. They had a 2016 LT, loaded, asking shy of $44k. It is marvelous. 22 Wheels, captains chairs, luxury package, and every car new or used comes with lifetime Powertrain warranty. Winning! This was the smoothest purchase I have made in many years. The entire team is great to work with.
If you want the best price available and are willing to wait possibly up to a few months, you can get a good price by registering with a broker at the IAAI website. If you are not extremely specific on features, you may even find one available immediately. I lost out on a theft recovery of a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe which had NOT been in an accident which sold at under $15,000.
WOW! You people are lucky, I just picked up a Tahoe Premier last week and the cheapest I could find was about $75,000 after taxes. Now it does have almost anything you'd ever want. It looks amazing, white/black, but sometimes I kick myself for not looking at the competition (Cadillac, Mercedes, etc) when you start to hit those prices. I notice a lot with GM vehicles there's a HUGE discrepancy in model pricing. I can get a $40 or 75K Tahoe.
2017 Tahoe Premier w/20K miles Premier Trim w/: -Power Running Boards -Max Trailering Pkg -Sun, Entertainment, Destination Pkg -22†Aluminum Wheels -8†Reconfigurable Cluster w/HUD -Adaptive Cruise Cntrl w/Fwd Auto Braking -Tungsten Metallic -Fully loaded to the gills -20K miles and like new -Someone got hosed paying $75,095 new just 2 years ago. -Purchased just the other day for $47,500. Let someone else take the hit in depreciation off the lot. I’ll wait to buy it from you a few months later.
Primus- I think you mean I got hosed :help: With taxes, warranties, upgrades, my final cost was $80's. I put in everything from Nitto Grappler tires, tint, lighted sills, etc. For buyers, at this point wait until the redesigned 2021 Tahoe. You'll either appreciate it's redesign, or take the massive discounts on 2020's. You saved $25,000, but also have a two year old vehicle with 20,000 miles. I've had my vehicle for 8 months, and have 1500 miles. So it depends on your perspective of 'heavily used' and usage.
My tahoe was over $3K under local market value. And for it being a 2017 bought in mid 2019, that means the truck wasn’t driven more than 10K/year. For the average driver, I would say it’s certainly been rubbed on. It’s a cherry ride. Very happy.
