Hey all!

I have been silently lurking the forums for some time now and I must say that you all have a very nice forum here! I have a 2003 Z71 Tahoe....I only have one complaint the rear heat doesn't blow heat just cool air! Any ideas?

i had this problem in december of last year when it got cold that the front would pump out heat but the rear would just blow cold air even though the temp was at 85, took it to the dealer, they said nothing was wrong and it still didn't work and finally 2 weeks later it worked and has worked ever since. :skep:

so if there is somthing to look out for i would also appreciate info too.

this could be similar to my problem---
i have posted already in tech area, but mine the passenger side vents blow really hot air, the drivers vents cold....diagnosis from stealership was a faulty air blower vent actuator, or something like that to the tune of about $650.....i told them to do it, and ill be pickin it up tomorrow....:nonod:

There's a TSB on some models related to this, stating that the rear gets insufficient heat due to a restrictive coolant line going towards the rear heater core. I'll have to check what year model that covers.
