Look at the top of the pcb. Usually there will be trace burned and you can repair this yourself if you can solder. This will save you lots of cash and down time waiting for the new part. About 95% of customers I get with that problem in that year range GM truck with an inop hvac control board is in repairable condition. And the cause is usually from someone installing a new stereo or adding an amp and the metal antenna casing touching the pcb and shorting it.

Looks great! I love the second pic where you're going 102MPH @ 600 RPM... :smilielol: Was the replacement difficult? What was involved other than pulling the dash trim piece? (Did you have to solder?)

it was really easy to install just pop off the trim peace then it is 4 screws and it comes right out. as far as the bulbs go. just twist out the plastic holder and pop the bulb out of the holder and pop in the new one. its as simple as that. then you just put it all back together.

NOTE: the bulbs go in a serten way so if the bulb does not light up the first time turn the bulb around.

yeah the spedo had not reset yet thats why it was at 100 MPH.

i dont know what your governers are set at but i have got my truck to go over 100. i thought it was set from factory at 97. oh well i dont mind being able to go over 100. its fun HAHAHA.

Heater control lights are #74 and plug into the Toshiba V2 twist lock base.

Off the top of my head, I want to say 5.... and that the bulbs come in a pack of 2.
