I was thinking, just thinking, about selling my '03 Silverado. It has about 27,000 miles on her, and an 8 ft. bed. Full rear doors and the color is that dark gray color. And, yes, it is GAS, not diesel. Lifted with a 6 inch body lift by Pro Comp and 35 inch Mickey Thompson tires...

Just wondering if anyone has tried Z Max in their engine. Does it really work, or is it just hype?

A-C :thumbsup: O'k guy's that what I'll do. 'Cause $1,100.00 sure does seem like an awful to pay to install the new compressor. Be it, all the other hoses etc. (parts) that have to be changed along with it. :thumbsup:

Air conditioning unit I was driving when I heard the noise. Like a real bad ratteling noise coming from that box underneath the glove compartment unit. I know I sound kind of vague about this, but I'm not the "mechanically" inclined sort of person. Sorry, but that's about the jest...

Don't know why, but it sounds like my compressor on '97 Tahoe is going out. :cryin: :confused: When I turn on the a.c. it makes a grinding sound, and the sound seems like it's coming from underneath the passenger side of the vehicle. Any clues as to what that might be ? '97...

BigDogg88....Yes, the brakes do squeak some-what, but just by pressing down on the pedal, well, it just feels like it's "mushy" almost all the way to the floor-board. Thanks for your reply....and thanks for reading....Michael....4/3/07.
