my driver's side rear door got a good one a few weeks ago (down to the metal), and the body shop said the whole door needed to be painted. They said if it wasn't a dark color (Ming Blue) and fairly new, they would have been concerned that they may even have to paint the adjacent panels, just to...
That is what I paid, but my friend sells and installs that stuff, so he did it for me at cost...he and I put it in and I bought him lunch...great deal!!!
Just installed the Magnaflow cat-back system......such an easy install.....sounds absolutely beautiful......loud when you want it to be.......smooth and quiet when cruising......nice polished oval tip......love it.....highly recommend.....
I installed Grillcraft grilles for a total of around $350, including small ones to cover the towhook holes.....IMO, these were (by far) the best looking mesh-type grilles out there.....fairly easy install, too.....
yes, I noticed when I installed my television antennas (one on each side)......The windows are the same size, but the pillar is much bigger on one side (perhaps housing something electrical???), making the view through the window smaller.....
One of the ninja turtles named Rafael who stalks this forum has become quite a hater.....his latest insults are directed at hose of us who choose to have low profile tires on a Tahoe....
Here are some doozies from the turtle himself....
"why would you put low profile tires on a truck?"...
Just a couple of quotes from the hater known to this forum as RAFAEL...
"why would you put low profile tires on a truck?"
"some bonehead who took his vehicle on an unpaved road and he didn't know that his low profile tires are likely to separate."
Raffie:
please tell Leonardo and...
If the bass, midrange, AND highs are weak, then try turning the whole thing up....you should have ordered your truck with no sound system at all.....did you not test drive the truck???
looking at your other posts, it seems as though you do nothing but complain.....
Rod:
I have installed the Superchips programmer and a K&N air intake on my '07 LTZ, which cost me approx $700 total.....
Can't honestly say how much performance improvement there is; it sure feels and sounds better (the K&N really lets you hear the engine quite a bit), and I find myself...
UMMMMMM....Rafael.......Do you think people buy trucks JUST for towing? Why do people lower trucks all the way to the ground? Why do people black out their taillights? It's AMERICA, baby! Do whatcha want! Are you gonna ask the same boneheaded question to everyone on this forum who has put...
Just put 24" Gianelle Steep-6's on my '07 Tahoe; Tires are Pirelli 305-35-24 Scorpions....Have ZERO intention of lowering her, and didn't think there would be any rubbing issues, since the overall height of the combo is so close to stock (WRONG!)......This combo is obviously wider than stock, so...
I think my air-ride pretty much pumps up every time the car is started (you can hear the electric pump if the radio is down and all is quiet)....I guess that would be one way to tell......also, I, too believe that only LTZ have this feature....
Eric
thanks KPANZA.....I ordered the Magnaflow cat-back kit....should be in on Monday....didn't want extra noise inside, which is why I went with your advice.....some people in that line of work in my area concurred with what you said....
Eric
just got my 24's---rubbing and all.......
I just had 24" Gianelle Steep-6's put on my '07 (pics coming tomorrow)....tires are Pirelli 305-35-24....even though the overall diameter of the package is only slightly larger than my stock wheels (the polished 20's), I have slight rubbing issues, due...
sorry, Timmy, but the wood in the Denali is no better.....I have an '07 LTZ, and my neighbor has a white '07 Denali.....wood on the steering wheel on the Denali, not on Tahoe....yes, my LTZ has heated rear seats.....funny, but his Denali doesn't seem much more powerful (maybe because it is...
