when the little indicator pops up that says oil change due, how many miles does it count? i just did a oil change and reset it by pushing in the gas pedal 3 times, never used it but wanted to know how many miles its set to count off before it tells you another oil change is due

gm has a bulletin out on that, #99-04-20-002D....my 03 Z71 does it too, check the trans fluid, make sure its full/clean, i actually overfill mine just a hint and its much better, take it to a dealer and ask a service advisor about the bulletin, they call it driveline clunk
