Hi guys... Posted an intro post but didn't get any response, so I'll keep it brief!

Got a 2001 LT over the weekend, really like it. Hopefully will have it registered today so I can actually drive it.

Couple questions...

- I'm going to do new plugs, oil, and filter right off the bat. Recommended brand for each, and weight for the oil? I'm in NY for what that's worth.

- I would like to add in bluetooth to the stock radio, ideally both for hands-free calling and for playing music via A2DP. Anyone know a good way to get this done? I'd prefer not to have to get an aftermarket head unit.

I have other questions, but I'll leave it at that for now!

Thanks for the tips. I wasn't sure if M1 was a good choice but I use it in all my vehicles so game on! AC Delco better than NGK for plugs?

Some people have their opinions on the NGK but if I were to change the plugs, I would stick with AC Delco. Unless I was adding performance parts, tuning etc...would I go with different plugs.

I ended up going with AC Delco plugs androgen I installed a parrot mki9100 bluetooth kit which gives me bluetooth phone, a2dp music (like pandora) and a hardwired ipod or whatever connection in the gklovebox. Really impressive actually considering the price!

i junked my stock radio and stuck in a samsung galaxy tab and installed a jvc bluetooth head unit where the tape deck once lived. Then i bought a bunch of Polk Audio speakers on ebay. This is the most awesome system ever, and cheap!
