I am putting an aftermarket radio in my 2000 tahoe. We had best buy install it in my families other tahoe (2001), but that tahoe recently went out on us, thus the 2000 tahoe is getting the radio. When I connect the radio, it turns on, but no sound comes out. I have read all over the internet that the blue/white wire (amplifier remote turn on) needs to connect to a certain wire, pink i think. The problem is, there is no pink wire in the group of wiring for the radio. I dont know if it is just a different color, or what, but i want to make 100% sure i know which wire it is, before I go around splicing wires together.

Don't know if you have completed this task or not but did you think about buying a wiring harness? It would a lot easier than splicing the wires together and takes the guess work out of wires that you may or may not need.
