air intake ?

thinking about getting one for my 96 2dr,what kind,how much ,will in increase power,gas mileage,and sound .thanx Rob NYC

I have the K&N intake system for my 1997 (with the plastic intake tube not the metal one) and mine works great. I didn't notice that much of a difference until I put an exhaust on as well, those two together (along with the bigger aluminum radiator with dual electric fans) made a pretty noticeable difference! Got mine on ebay brand new shipped for around $190.

there K&N intakes, Volant intakes, AEM intakes, theres tons..

from my experiences: power- not much at all.
MPG's- about 2-3mpg
sound- a little bit at higher RPM's
any brand mentioned above would do the trick.

...it's a balance of appetite (intake) and a$$hole (exhaust).
