I have an 07 black with factory 20's
love the truck but hate the gold bowtie front and back
also not in love with grill
where can i find black bowties?
where can i find a totally black grill even border around grill black
i want to take off all emblems except flex fuel logo
black everything out
think that would looke sweet
and eventually get black 22's

Do what I did on my GMC emblems to the Bowties. Carefully mask them off with the blue masking tape (easy removeable kind). Clean the plastic thoroughly with acetone (don't get any on the truck!) and then spray paint black with Krylon "Fusion" plastic paint. So far so good on mine and if you should get a rock chip just touch up like you would the body.

You can remove the emblems that are attached with 3M tape using fishing line as a saw to cut the foam tape. The use GooGone or Desolveit to remove the adhesive. You can paint the chrome surround if you use an adhesion promoter.

I put an overlay billet grill in my black LTZ.
