hey guys iam wanting to take the cats off of my tahoe when i get my new exhaust installed will it hurt anything to remove them? what is the deal with these o2 censors?

Why do you want to remove them? they don't restrict the flow of your exhuast, all they do is burn the left over gas in the exhuast - if you remove them you will have alot of left over gas flowing out the exhuast, and your exhuast will really smell bad

- And you will develop a check engine light.. - the rear-o2s will tell the PCM that the cats are not working
