Clunk coming from drivers rear

whenever im leavin the driveway or hit a rough patch in the road..the drivers rear clunk, pretty solid too..any ideas what it could be? i had it on the lift and everything looked fine..i wouldnt imagine its the shock since the tinyest bump makes it clunk..any ideas?

It might be a worn out shock. Or, I have even seen the shock bushings, deteriorate so bad, they're gone and just the bolt is left.

ill have to take a harder look..

what shocks are they? they are fricken huge! not a normal looking shock..about the size of a pop can around..

IIRC, that's the heavy duty setup.

would that be just from the trailering package or something? or could it be autoride? i dont think so though..

also tonight i noticed that if im on the brakes when i hit one of these bumps, it doesnt clunk near as bad/ if at all..hmm

I would also check the trailing arm bushings as well.

I have having same problem. Someone mentioned it could be the sway bar. Did you get yours fixed?

i havent had any time to look at it..probably middle march will be the first time i get a chance
