thinking about buying 1 ,what kind should I consider ,how much, will this increase proformance,gas mil,sound power .is there pro's/cons //thanx I have a 96 2dr

Most will only increase performance at the upper rpm band where most don't spend much time. Noise will generally increase a little but don't count on any mpg improvement. If you get the filter that is oiled, you w/ need to be careful not to over-oil it as you can "coke" the MAF sensor. That's a several hundred dollar lesson.
