Crank no start 99 Tahoe

OK so I was driving my 2dr 99 Tahoe 5.7 when the car cut.off and died...I had a shade tree mechanic come look at it and diagnosed it as a bad crank sensor...so I replaced it only to not have the truck to start...was told to check coil for spark and got nothing so went to local junkyard put it in still no spark...pleas help me figure this out...the only codes.its sending is Cps... Checked fuel pump and injectors and have grand.new battery please help this single full-time dad out...and I have basic hand tools

No spark from Coil, Coil Wire, or Spark Plug Wire?

What is a CPS? What was the exact Code?

Don't trust Junkyard parts.
